Back in September of this year I described how I make Sloe Gin and I am pleased to say that it’s ready for bottling. Actually, as I write this post I have bottled some of it and a few friends and family have tried it. Some people like Sloe Gin and they liked mine, some people don’t; unfortunate for them and fortunate for me
, and some people make their own and try to justify who’s is the best. When we visit family in Cumbria (who also make their own Sloe Gin) we have a taste-off which invariably never results in a winner, more of slurred debate until we forget what we started talking about, all in good sensible fun
I’ll be making the Sloe Gin Chocolate for New Years Eve.
