A friend of mine told me how he’s been saving money on his hotel bills by booking through the cash back website Quidco.
To earn Cash Back you log into the site (having set up an account before hand) then search for the store you want to buy from, click on the relevant cash back or voucher code link and then make a purchase. If you’ve clicked on a voucher code you’ll enter the code as you pay the items you are buying to get a discount, if you take the cash back option then Quidco tracks your purchase and then when Quidco receives confirmation that you’ve paid for the goods they credit your cash back to your account. Voucher offers and Cash Back percentages vary from store to store but it’s a great way of paying less than you would if you’d gone directly to the store.
Being the kind of person who likes to save on my purchases I signed up for an account. The sign up process was quick and easy and I made my first purchase of a suit from Next. I bought the suit to match a waistcoat I received as a christmas present the suit came to £175 and I received £1.75 as cash back into my Quidco account. Not a massive amount of money but as
they in Scotland – Many a mickle makes a muckle!
Now that I have a Quidco account, if I want to buy anything online I login to Quidco and then search for the company I want to buy from, Quidco then sends me to the company site and tracks my purchase, then I get the cash back.
One of the things you have to be mindful of is that you might be able to buy the same product cheaper from another company not covered by Quidco and this could be cheaper than the price you pay though Quidoc with the cash back taken off; so its worth checking and not just expecting your post-Quico cash back price to be cheaper.
Having said that most of the sites I buy from I would have bought from them anyway Quidco or no Quidco.
I’ve been using quidco for about 2 months and have expected cash back of £32 which if I extrapolate across the year is £192; nice! 
So, add Quidco to your savvy shopping tool kit and start getting cash back today!
