Online Networking: Summary

by Steve Dangerfield on May 21, 2011

This is the last blog post of four in my “Online networking” series; to find the other posts start here.

To summarise,

I use online networking to connect with people both professionally and socially to learn, to share information, and to keep my ear to the ground with what’s happening in my many fields of interest.

I use LinkedIn and Twitter most, but also use Facebook, DailyMile, and read a number of blogs; I also comment on blogs and forums too.

Know the risks, don’t just do as others do, think about what you’re posting and where you are posting it, consider the affects of your actions.

I hope you’ve learned something from reading my blog series about online networking I welcome your comments and where appropriate I will fold these into the relevant posts or use them as inspiration for additional posts.  If you think there is a section I haven’t covered or more information that I could add please leave me a comment.

Before you go; connect with me on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, DailyMile, and subscribe to my RSS feed or via email.
